Ooh I've heard shingles is much worse as an adult leanfun. Hope your DD gets through it ok xx My youngest DD has never had chicken pox but all her class has so she must be a carrier of them. She does get sick quite a lot though with her stomach but she's very active too.

It's sons bday today and he wanted an iPhone and DH found my very first phone from over 20 yrs ago (complete with aerial) and put that with his presents instead. I hid the iPhone in a jacket I got him and we told him we couldn't afford an iPhone but got him that one instead! The poor lad just pretended he wasn't disappointed and then I asked him to try the jacket on where he found the phone! Think he was happier then
I'm a bit sick of all these gadgets though. Could do with a gadget free week in this house so we can interact a bit more!

Reminded me of last night's Bake Off for Sport's relief. Ed Balls said his daughter wanted an iPad for her birthday so he made her an iPad cake!

Supposed to rain all day here but not started yet.
DD has her last school dance tonight so few girls coming up after school to get ready and DH running them down. Funny to think it won't be long before we have nothing to do with schools any more - been a long time.
Tesco vouchers are showing on line today if anyone is waiting on them. I got £38.50 and some good points coupons are showing. Got £64 to convert to something now. Could probably get a caravan holiday (x3) or might change for meals out (x4). usually get good value with them anyway. Using them for Bowes Museum on Saturday.

Afternoon all. Had to venture out again. DIL phoned to see if I could make a pot of soup for GK's (excuse lol) While chopping veg I cut myself. No elastoplast so had to nip over to chemist. It is freezing out there now. So now have a sticky out finger as if it touches anything it starts bleeding again. Should be ok in a while when it starts healing.
