Afternoon peeps. Had GK's for a few hours while dad got some me time at the gym. Mum is working today. Tonight they are going to stay with their other gran whilst DS takes DIL out for a belated birthday meal. Had a Nana nap for an hour on couch. Wish I hadn't now as feel a bit off. Have decided I am having a takeaway tonight just don't know what yet lol. I have so many good ones around me ( chip shops, Indian, Chinese, Italian) Hope everyone has had a good day.

Chinese ordered so I am going to open a bottle of wine afterwards and have a glass or two. Not had one for ages it seems lol then I will catch up with comps. Anyone else having a takeaway or something exotic tonight? Please feel free to help yourself to a glass of wine later.

    Evening all
I tried posting yesterday but my iPad kept logging me out so gave up! :o

Well done on the yogurt maker win Sylvia :T Fab win :)

No Chinese for me tonight fire**fly! DH was at work so I took the kids to seaside and we had a KFC there :) I wanted some new jeans and found some in new look sale for £3 ideal fit! :j
Enjoy your takeaway  Great you've got your new fridge too :) Is it an American style one too? I would love one of those with a drink dispenser on.

Have a good break Sheils and hope you get to Bowes and Richmond :)

Water chestnuts and noodles sounds nice Rose, I have gone right of Kentucky, would much rather have noodles!

My brother came out of hospital earlier for now. The bruising has gone right around his back and down his legs, it's just black. They have gave him alternative tablets to warfarin and something for the mass swelling in his stomach and gave him morphine. They didn't want to open him up as it was too risky but hopefully the different tablets will sort out most of it until they can assess it properly.

Hope everyone having a good evening :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Wingo so pleased to hear you got out for the day. Great to find jeans that fit and a bargain.
Do hope your DB continues to improve now he's home.

Know what you mean about being logged out. It drives me crazy. I was just thinking I know my name and password no problem.

Rose and FireFly take away sounded good. here we had a bit of salmon and veg. Just opened a bottle too Rose. So cheers and good luck with CTWs.

fire Fly We had a new fridge freezer last year. It'd really good and we are very pleased. In the end DH had a good deal with John Lewis. We usually buy from a local small shop near us. We are really pleased with ours.
Hope you are with yours. It's a mine field what with the handles now and height.

Back to my glass cheers everyone.

Hi everyone, love the sound of a takeaway, I had some tomato pasta and cheese but love noodles, mushrooms, and water chestnuts etc.

Wine sounds nice too. Have a bottle of red in the cupboard, think I might crack ti open.

Well done on the jeans Wingo that was a great buy. Big hugs for your Brother and hope things improve soon.
