  • Hello everyone :)

Not been too bad here today, they have got some road works going on outside my house making it hard to reverse on the drive and we didn't get a letter about it either which is a bit annoying :/ hoping they are gone by the time I get home because it didn't look like they were doing anything when I left for work this afternoon!!

Indie and FireFly - Well done on the wins :)

Wingo - Aww your dog sounds cute!! We had a dog when I lived at mums and she would chase my dad when he was cutting the grass, it was so funny haha

Alfie - Sounds nice where you live :) my cats used to hide when we first got them, now they are really nosey!! haha

Leanfun - Glad your hubby is ok :)

Hope you all have a lucky day :D

Goodness can't believe the tv tonight, it is rubbish so rubbish I may even turn over to CBB that starts at 9pm to see what hasbeens are going in to make a fool of themselves. Got two wems today both for books. Don't usually get wems for books they just seem to turn up. I love a good read though so hopefully they will be ok as authors I have read before.

Ho Rose we ended up watching a very long old Midsummer Murders. Lo!

Rose congratulations on book wins I too like reading. Am reading a book I won and had put on the side months ago.

Had to really smile about you at your sisters. Where she lives sounds great.
Great your Son will be home soon.

Indie ho it must have been difficult trying to explain your bruises. Congratulations on your thermometer win.

Sheils pleased you are home safely and everything is fine. First time we went away I worried terribly.

    Firefly congratulations on your win.

Here quiet day. DHs bruise is now purple not black and he feels fine.

Chocolatelover hope you are able to get into your drive.

That's annoying when that happens Chocolatelover. Our road seems to keep getting dug up too and ours is quite a narrow roads or sometimes people just pull onto our drive!

Well done on the snappy bin fire**fly :j I didn't know what it was either and imagined a crocodile jumping out and snapping at you when you put rubbish in it! :D

Indie, well done on the thermometer :j Will always come in handy :)

I've read stories about people busting blood vessels by sneezing leanfun. Glad DH is ok and not too serious :) I often get bruises from the kids at school as they can't control their behaviour but have to hide them from my youngest DD as she worries and always asks if the kids have been ok at school. She understands though that they can't help it.

Rose, how lovely your son is on his way home :) I bet you can't wait to see him! Well done on the books win! :j I didn't watch BB as I hate it.

Won't be long Alfie hopefully before you can venture back into the garden :) I read somewhere that flowers were blooming due to warmer weather in December. Just hope this rain stops! Whitby is flooded now and there's roads not too far from us closed to flooding.

Just had a lovely relaxing bath but I'm wide awake now. :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    Good Morning,

Feeling a bit colder this morning but still dry. Hopefully get the washing dry later.

Hope rain stops for you wingo. It is strange that the east is getting it worse than the west for a change. Didn't hear about Whitby being flooded.

DD got back at 1.20am and has school today. I got confused about when she was coming back but she has stayed at her bfs to save wakening us. Been so difficult remembering what day it is. Hopefully back to normal now.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

    home. :)

Hi sheils - Great you had a wonderful time - also that

    had a brilliant time.

Must admit chocolatelover, I do love The New Forest -
wonderful place to live. :D So much to see and do. Hope
the road workmen have finished at yours - sounds very
awkward for you reversing out of your drive!

leanfun - hope your DHs bruise is a bit better this
morning. Lol - had a giggle at your Malta story!

Hi to everyone else - sending love 'n hugs.
