I wanted to pop in earlier but had a dreaded migraine! still...had a lovely day and visited parents this morning and all family were there
It's their anniversary tomorrow so will be a family get together for drinks.
Hubby at work and was working Xmas eve too so didn't get to bed till late!

Off out for a [STRIKE]brisk walk[/STRIKE] slow shuffle today
with lovely family to work off the joyfully self-inflicted gluttony
of food 'n drink we consumed yesterday.

It was brilliant to see so many peeps popping into the Inn
yesterday! Long may it continue!

for the dads & granddads now,
was just remembering how we used to always go
to the pub years ago on boxing day & see all the
men coming in for a drink & showing off them off
seems everyone wears them now.

Good Morning,


Wet and miserable here, don't seem to have been out for a walk for ages.
Should be a quiet day. DS3 said he might pop up as hotel is closed today but won't if raining. Think I have fed enough people for now anyway! Think I might make more of the Christmas Eve buffet next year if everyone is working Xmas again which is pretty likely. If DD decides to go for nursing course at Uni she might be too and DH and I could be on our own!

Did a bit of shopping on line at Boots for fragrance gift sets yesterday so will have plenty of birthday presents for this year. Nothing like being organised.
Anyway, hope everyone was pleased with their gifts and had a great time. Off to see what comps are left.

Morning everyone. Hope everyone had a fab day yesterday. Weather here is awfull heavy rain and cold and it is still dark. We had a bit of a surprise as well as dil sil went in to labour early on christmas eve she was 37 weeks and had a little girl 5lbs 2oz. So extra celebration. Mother and baby well.
