Fingers and paws crossed that the loss adjustor comes good
re your claim.

Hope the bracelet arrives in time for Christmas. Bet you
did have a shock when you saw that your Ramada points
account had been deactivated! _pale_ Thankfully they sorted
it for you! Hope your DD had a lovely time at the
school dance last night.

Well - must crack on - another busy day here but I think
I'll just make another cuppa first.

Love your pics as usual Alfie and great you are going to get a nice day. We are to get lots of rain!
DD did enjoy dance thanks but she knew her bf had been called out to help with a large fire 50 miles away so a bit edgy. She says his hair still smells from the last big fire the other week!


Crime prevention officer coming this morning. DH wanting to find out about some lights and maybe cameras for round our back. Feels so strange as most of time doors have hardly been locked in our area.

Good morning all. Looks like we might get a dry day here today so maybe get some washing out.

Glad you managed to get another bracelet ordered Sheils. It must be a worry for your DD with he bf in the fire service.

Think you are right firefly, they are probably saving the snow for you until January LOL.

Well it will teach me to get stocked up for Christmas. DD2/partner/GD are not coming up for Christmas after all, her partner has a really bad chest infection and his asthma is really bad. However DD & GD are coming this Sunday for a few days and we will probably head down there sometime after Christmas.

Off into town to get food shopping for the weekend. Have told DD1 if they are coming on Sunday they will just have to have something quick.

I still feel like cat in your Pic Sheils. Pleased you stuck to your guns with insurance company. Great your daughter enjoyed her dance. Hope her present arrives in time.
You must have been worried about Ramada great sorted. We ocassionally have a meal in one of their hotel. DH was recently sent vouchers for this year but after a phone call they immediately sent replacements. Be great when you get iPad.

Here a bit of sun now and very mild.

So much to do here still one thing at a time.Coffee now then maybe one or two comps the cracking on.

Expect everyone will have a busy weekend. Katie hope you are enjoying all the festivities.

That's great you got your boiler done quickly Alfie. My mums & dads broke yesterday and dad can't afford to be getting cold and even wore gloves in the house before boiler broke! My sis tried sorting it but was told it would be January before getting it fixed until sis cried and explained dads circumstances. They are coming next week now but it's been quite mild today Love the 'throw it' snowman pic!

Sheils, glad you managed to replace DD's bracelet Hope she had a good time at dance. I bet she looked gorgeous in that dress with her lovely figure

Glad you enjoyed the Cats show leanfun Hope you weren't too disappointed in the lights on regent st. I think everywhere seems to skimp on lights now!

My SIL's dad had a beautiful and very dignified send off yesterday. It was very emotional. His mum is still alive bless her but was a bit confused in church shouting she wants a cup of tea. It must be difficult when your child passes away before you. Today they were able to put his ashes in the grave of the child they lost before SIL was born.

We finished early from work today and the kids in class had bought some chocs for me :A (Unfortunately I've just eaten them as I didn't have any choc in! )
