Morning everyone
Sorry to hear that April, just what you don't need before christmas. Been hectic week for me at work. I have today off and am trying to get tree up today, i got it out but everytime i start to sort things out i get called away for one reason or another.I have had a few wins this week. Box of mixed donuts from Krispie Kreme fb comp. I came home to a surprise hamper from Haribo. Got an email from Now mags yesterday i won a thortons biscuit hamper that has been sent already and should recieve in the next couple of days. Had a book turn up from made for mums comp. The a couple of days later got a big bundle of books from them with a lovely hand written note saying they had sent the wrong prize and here was the right one. The whole collection of kids books and one thrown in extra as a sorry pressent..lol.So a good week for me. I hope you all have a lucky day.
:j:j Very well done indie with all your lovely wins! :j:j:T:T:T

Well done Indie great book wins and hampers too. Hope you have a productive day off.
Hope things improve for you April Lady.
We really enjoyed Cats last night. Beverly Night was terrific but only sang three songs. The rest of it was good. A bit like your GD Nativity play Sylvia lots of the cast had solo dancing or singing pieces and some duets.
We had great seats in stalls row K so not too near stage just right. The Palladium has a massive stage. We could not see the orchestra but could see the conductor on a small TV screen on the edge of the circle. This was so the cast could see him. They music was excellent. Afterwards discovered they are in a room under the stage.
Christmas lights in Regent street were rubbish. Side streets much better and strand looked great. Tree in Trafalgar square not leaning too much after the wind. We had a meal in an old pub off regent street in an upper room with window in three walls so could see lights outside very festive. Lights in side streets were good.
Saw people with litup swords. Star Wars premier was on.
Sylvia pleased you enjoyed play.
Sheils your elderly neighbour sounds great. Hope you get bracelet. Here a couple of things to buy still
Had a WEM for a children's Album yesterday. Andy Day from CBBCs.
Alfie and FireFly thanks for the pics.
Hope everyone calling by has a great day. Good luck all0 -

:j Very well done with the children's Album win! :j
Well - I had a very nice gas engineer here this morning -
last night boiler packed up - so no hot water etc! To be
honest the boiler is ancient - but ho hum.I rang the
people this morning and a cheery chap arrived and got
to work, replaced few bits in the boiler and also installed
new pump thingy in the airing cupboard. All done and
dusted.
Got to play catch up now .....
Off to make a coffee - 'see' you all later.

Good afternoon all. Sorry late in as went out with DD1 to a Garden Centre for coffee and catch up.
Managed to get the correct blue hair colour dye to put with GD's Christmas pressie. Can't image what my Dad woud have said if he saw her, she has beautiful blond hair too. I must admit it does look nice though!
Sounds like you had a wonderful time at the theatre yesterday leanfun, what a lovely start to Christmas.
What a shame about the size of the bracelet Sheils, hope you can get the correct size before Christmas.
Sounds like everyone has been busy.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Alfie so pleased your boiler has been fixed quickly by a pleasant engineer. That's how it should be.
Sylvia I too met our DD1. She was out shopping and last minute phoned me to go and have lunch with her. I grabbed the nearest coat without thinking and was baking all the time out. It was brighter today and really hot. After she caught train home I did some last minute present shopping.
Ho Sylvia smiled about dye.0 -
That was nice meeting your DD for lunch leanfun. Don't get much chance to see her on her own so grab the chance when it comes along.
Did you manage to find another bracelet Sheils?BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Hi everyone, Sounds like you have all been busy. Your theatre visit sounds great leanfun. I have only been to London once and that was a long time ago.
Glad you got boiler fixed quickly Alfie. the old boilers are the best I think but do cost more to run. Refused to use firm Insurance Co sent to us for new door as guy grumpy. Our joiner came today to measure up. He is lovely. Had email from loss adjustor few minutes ago and he says aiming to settle claim by 7th January! No mention of total yet though.
Sent DDs bracelet back and ordered another one. Think bracelet she tried on was size bigger than girl thought so this one should be right. Supposed to be shipped tonight so fingers crossed it gets here before Xmas. DS2 popping down on Monday so will get his presents and card away .
Had a real panic over Ramada points win for iPad as discovered my account wasn't showing and when I phoned up it had been deactivated! Luckily woman could reactivate it as points should eventually be paid in there. So scared I had lost only decent win for ages.
Funny girls using blue dye Sylvia it used to be old women with blue rinses.
DD at school dance tonight and wearing a long dress. Seems funny to see them now. It has a huge slit up the side though. She looked really sophisticated! Think it was a James Bond theme.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
