Just been chatting to Sheils and she has asked me to tell you all that she may not be on for a while as she has been burgled while she has been away. Not muck taken but they seem to have made a mess turning things over etc. She is heading home in the morning.

Thanks firefly and 3for. Will let her know in the morning as she was going to bed to try and get some rest before travelling home. Think its shook them up a bit, its a shame when this happens when you are away.

Ho Sylvia so sorry to hear this.
I know exactly how she feels. We were away at the coast a couple of years ago and were burgled and because an old lady told our neighbour a side gate was open. we didn't loose too much but they made a lot of mess in house. DD came around to our house to collect euros and found front door boarded up and phoned us. It's awful shock.
Last year we went to church on Good Friday and while we were out we were burgled through new kitchen window that we thought was very secure. I am sure we disturbed the burgled as we came in so just lost laptop. We do go away but I am a bit paranoid about telling people we are going away.

Really feel for Sheils. Her DD must be at home. Shock for her.

Wingo we only do 12 days of Christmas so decorations etc are still in loft. Well do the tree when GS has finished school.

I've just been working through the the list of web advents and when I thought I'd come to the end thought ho no there's more but thankfully they were FB and I don't do them. Everything slow.

I read Sheils post on fb Sylvia, that's just awful. I hope her DD's ok, it must have been terrifying for her. Hope they can replace the doors soon.
It's an awful feeling getting burgled, I moved house in the past because of it as I couldn't settle in the house.

I've never had so many parcels as I did last week.....for neighbour! I don't mind really as she always takes mine in if I'm not in.

I can hear the rain outside again so hope everyone safe from more flooding etc.

Its raining here too firefly.

Sister is calling this morning as her friend has an app in Durham so is dropping her off for a couple of hours. Will probably go for coffee.
