You're right about them putting prices up before Xmas leanfun in supermarkets. I've noticed price increases already of items I normally buy.

It's been frosty here too indie and the ground was slippy outside DD's school, I almost hit the ground! We've had flooding in our school too over the weekend.

Have you thought any more about moving house Sylvia? I would love to move to a bigger house but I find it stressful moving.

I've been wrapping what pressies I've got in so far before work. I still need lots!
I've just got over another dreaded migraine that I couldn't shift. I soooo hate these migraines!

Are you having your Mom's do at the place your DD works then? Does that mean she has to work?

Wingo,I save the wrapping up until my Sister comes, Thursday, as she like to do it for me. Yes we are on the list to move but are down sizing to a bungalow, think we are about half way down the list so probably towards Spring. Have started to clear a few things as it all happens quite quickly when you get one. DD2 is paying for the move for us and DS is coming to help out with getting wardrobes down etc and helping in general. DD1 is in her last year at Uni so will be busy.

Thanks for the wine fiefly, could do with one, still trying to get up to date since going down to DD's.

Meal went well but all quiet now as everyone has gone out now.


Haven't wrapped any presents yet wingo although will need to get DS1's done soon. He is taking ferry to Belfast and driving down to Waterford for the wedding on Friday before coming back for 2 nights and then heading to Edinburgh for few nights before flight back to Oz. Don't worry about bigger house, in a few years time kids will be heading off with partners and house will feel empty!

The spring will be upon us before you know it Sylvia, you're right to start packing things up now It's good that you've got lots of helpers. My dad asked mum if she would like a little bungalow but there's so many happy memories in the house she doesn't want to leave them behind.

The kids have been laughing at me cos I have my fleecy onesie on! I would rather be warm than care about how I look!

Mum's do is at DD's work place Sylvia and both her and BF are off so few inexperienced peeps working. Sure it will be fine though! Sounds like you are getting organised for future move

It was brr today even here 5 degrees.

We drove to Lidls. At check out our cashier and neighbouring one were laughing at something. A member of staff went up to a lady who had already paid for her shopping and was packing it into bags. I looked over and noticed the label sticking out of the middle of the boots she was wearing. She was asked about her boots and said her daughter had bought them for her. On the way out to car park I had to explain it to DH. He said yes, I saw her trying them on!
When I put the trolley bag lady with boots plus tag was also putting her trolley back. DH was wondering what she did with her shoes!

Sylvia you sound very organised. Pleased to hear you will have lots of help when the time comes.

We have a few presents bought and will be meeting up with my sister later in week so we need to do some wrapping. I'm hopeless at it and hand not very good so persuade DH to do it. Great your sister likes doing it Sylvia.
