We have been paying for carrier bags here in Wales for years and you do get used to it. My car boot has lots of bags, its better to buy the 10p ones rather than the 5p as they are a lot stronger and last longer. We have to pay for carrier bags in every shop even macdonalds!! I order with no bags with my online shop and the man brings the crates into the kithen and helps me to put them on the kitchen worktops.
I have also noticed a decline in carrier bags around the streets.
I think Scotland have been doing it for a while also.

I two had a WEM for a golf jumper. It's just a plain jumper no logos so might keep it for myself. I entered thinking of a golfing relative.

SYlvia thought the bath robe might be luxurious. Great that you are giving to DIL I'm sure she will be delighted.

Rose your hair sounds great. You should be proud of it. Fire Fly all your family will be in shock when you have highlights.

Yes, you'll need to get used to it too. Your hairdresser already had ideas for a long time so I feel sure it will look great.

Doubts about my jumper win is that it's lambs wool and I'm not good with wool! Lo I have worn marino wool over something so have my doubts. Will choose a colour that I think my relative will like too and then see when it arrives. Still a great win.

Hello my lovelies! How are you all doing?

Just thought I'd pop in to say hey as I haven't in what seems like a very long time!

Dex is 3 in a couple of months. Where does the time go? Milo is 1 year in a couple of months too! Add to that, my husband's birthday and my birthday and the end of November/December is going to be very busy!

I read about Wales and Scotland been paying for carrier bags for years kitten. I must admit I hate to see them blowing all over the place! Apparently in one of my local supermarkets people are taking shopping baskets out to the car to avoid paying!
