Morning peeps bit dull again here this morning. Kiddywinks are still sound asleep they want scrambled egg on toast for breakfast this morning so not much faffing about to do. We are off out later so no comping for me till DIL picks them up around 6pm. Have a happy and lucky day everyone

Shame your DH isn't better yet but hopefully it won't take long.
Car hasn't arrived so looks like we will be heading off in our blue one. Save the milage on the new one right enough as we will probably do about 1,000 miles when away.
Our new Tesco Mastercards arrived in post though so that is something. Have been using an IHG Visa card instead but scared it would stop working as usually don't use it. It gives me points on IHG Hotel stays so better than nothing. Hate not getting anything for my spending!

Fire Fly so sorry to hear about your DH. Do hope he is much better soon. Sounds as though he has had a few rough days. I think they have probably changed the flue jab as others have said.

Wingo do hope DD1 does not have arthritis and that you have an apps soon.
Still can't believe your DSs school. I was pleased to see you gave him the option to move. It's a very difficult situation for him but if you do not have a result with the teachers and senior management you have to go higher.

Rose scrambled eggs sounds great. Enjoy your day with GKs. Congrats on your win great you have the money to buy a new cleaner.
3 for hols your hols sounded good. Enjoy the weekend before back to work. My DH hates paying for parking. It can work out very expensive.

Afternoon everyone, well done on the wins this last week. I hope your DH feels better soon ff.I had an early shift today so not too bad but we were very busy. Got the morning shift again tomorrow, then 2 days off and they say the weather is going to change on Monday...that's about right..lol.I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

DH has picked up a bit this afternoon & managed to
get some tomato soup down,
least it's a start to him feeling better :dance:
been talking to some of the neighbours & know of 2
more people that have had a bad reaction as well & are poorly,
lol, DH says he won't be having it next year!


been a lovely day weatherwise here but
evening chill is beginning to set in now,
don't blame you having your bed socks & d/gown on
early wingo

Good morning everyone!

Apparently it's going to be another decent weather
day here again, similar to yesterday ....



Though I have noticed a slight drop in the temperature
in the evenings and (dare I say it) in the mornings too.

Thankfully not chilly enough to start heating up the house
just yet.



So pleased your DH is slowly improving fire**fly, don't
blame him for not wanting the jab next year!

Morning all,


Just doing a few dailies etc before getting ready for heading off.
Going to visit The National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port and maybe walk along the canal a bit this afternoon then staying just outside Chester. Meeting DH's sister for dinner tonight and off to Porthcawl tomorrow via Penderyn Whisky Distillery. Looks like we aren't going to be as lucky with the weather as we were in Fort William. Monday and Tuesday look wet on the forecast.
Only 2 more breaks booked this year after this one so will be calming down!


Hope DH feeling a lot better today FF.


Don't know if I will get much access to internet when in Porthcawl but will try and pop in. Wishing everyone a lucky week.
