DH been trying to get rid of blackberries FF- they are trying to take over the garden!!! Should have tried to collect some of the fruit first I suppose. We had an apple flan (DD made it) with custard.
Blackberry smoothies sound good

lol, yes they can take over sheils, they need regular pruning etc
the contract gardeners here do them for us so it's easy for us to just go pick them,
DD's apple flan sounds lovely :drool:

Hope you are all well on what is going to be a
decent Thursday after the dreadful weather yesterday!

Its going to be sunny this morning ....

You have reminded me fire**fly - we used to go
blackberry picking in the forest years ago when we had
the doggie ... bushes were on the walking routes and loads
of walkers were picking them.

I will have to go walkies again, with bag to hand ...
used to make some scrumptious dishes with them!

Don't know where our blackberries come from FF. They aren't supposed to be there!

Morning everyone. Had some overnight rain but sun is out now after a dull start earlier. Love blackberries but unfortunately have not been able to buy any as supermarkets here in this area don't seem to want to stock them and the clydeside growers no longer grow them. Must have a search in some of the freezer shops they may have them.

Morning all.I have been busy at work this week, i feel like i have been at work forever,lol. I have 2 days off now so time to catch up with everything.Well done on the wins, i won a ThermoTherapy Polcadot Heatpack! with Real people,well pleased with that. I should be around a bit more now as colder weather is here my arthritas is kicking in so cutting down my hours to cope with the aches and pains.We have the sun out at the moment but have had torrential rain for the last few days. Been more like April with showers and sunshine.I hope you all have a lucky day.

Good morning all, weather a bit iffy this morning here, looks a bit like it might rain.

Thanks for the pics everyone, as you know I really love them all as firefly says they cheer up the morning.

Well done on your win Indie and sorry to hear you are not too good in the Winter.

Busy day for you firefly, blackberry pie sounds lovely. I have been having quite a few raspberries as they are a good price at the moment. I get some lovely plain yogurts from Lidl at 4 for 99p and they are lovely on fruit. Last night we had some plums which were rather nice as well.

Are you going to pick blackberries from your garden for a pie as well Sheils?
