Glad you had a good day Sheils and got caught up on the washing and ironing.

We went into Leeds and DD took us to Wagga Mama's which was a real treat. GD got her first pair of DM's (£95) so she was well pleased with the day.

Haven't started my comps yet so looks like a long night for me. Could do with a beer I think.

Have you had a good day in the garden Alfie? I have an enormous spider (well....too big for my liking anyway) dangling from the outside window so I daren't open the windows!

I've always fancied a Waga Mamas too Sylvia. They were supposed to be building one near me but they decided to build ANOTHER flipping McD's instead!

Have a good break tomorrow Sheils Is it just the two of you going or is DD going too? I've always fancied going on a canal boat. Mam & dad have always wanted to go on one too. Something to aim for perhaps if dad can get well enough to go away. He is looking forward to having all his family with him at Blackpool though Just one of my sisters not going.

I didn't get my bath today. I ended up taking DD2 roller skating at a park with my sis and bro, SIL and their kids. It was a nice day out

Thanks wingo, just the two of us going. DD is back at school now.
My kids would like us to all go on a holiday abroad together after DD turns 18 and has finished her Highers next year but so hard to organise. DS1 has to get here from Oz. Ds3 probably won't have enough money and will he still be with his gf and DD has new boyfriend. Probably only DS2 and his gf we could be sure off. I will need to see nearer the time.

Hi firefly, sorry missed your earlier post somehow. That's a good idea about the folder and favourites will sort it out for him. He always remembers all the answers so that's good. Didn't realise HUKD didn't have daily board like us.

Win go Waga Mamas was lovely but it was £77 for 4 of us, even water was £2.20! It was lovely though, especially as DD paid for it.

It's difficult getting all the family to get together for a holiday Sheils, they all have their own agenda these days. We don't usually get to go with our now as they all have to take school holidays and it's too expensive then. Anyway we usually dog sit Lol.

Well done on your win Indie, I think I missed that post as well somehow.

Good morning everyone!

Hope you are all well on what is supposed to be a
'mixed bag of weather' day!! Cloud, rain, sun etc. :p

It's not looking too bad out at the mo - just cloudy and
breezy.

Got a good couple of hours out gardening yesterday until
the rain started then I had to scuttle indoors! :eek:

wingo - I can relate to how you feel seeing large spider
dangling outside your window. :eek:

I never dare open one of the air vents on my patio doors cos
I know there is a huge tarantula tucked up in there just waiting
for the chance to come [STRIKE]wandering[/STRIKE] striding into my house! Yuk!! :eek:

Good Morning,


Just a quick pop in as I want to get some comps done before we head off. Weather seems to be Ok and supposed to be OK for Chorley area so looks like we should get our canal walk. Hotel right beside canal - one way Chorley and one way to flight of locks I think so looking forward to it. Going to go and park at hotel and take it from there.


Hope you get some gardening done Alfie. Your garden must be beautiful. Could do with you to do ours!


Not sure if Charlie is going to die or not Sylvia. They are keeping story open and still working on him. We are supposed to think he is dead. Should find out tonight! Duffy seems to be back. Don't watch much on TV but like Casualty.
