Lovely idea rose, but Chessington is a long way to go for 3 nights.


Been a lovely day here. Had a long walk this morning and did some shopping. Saw a red squirrel while we were out on our walk which was nice.

I know shiels but we all enjoy driving so it is not a problem. Used to drive down south to Portsmouth when they were all living there. Drove overnight when the roads were not so busy. So will do the same with Chessington although it is not nearly as far. Alfie I thought Chessington was just a zoo untill I saw advertisement.

Hope you get it sorted out rose. Never been there. We did go to Legoland when down that way and loved it.

Fire Fly we have had another odd day here weather wise but a good day for us.
DH's cough and cold is a lot better so we have been out for an anniversary meal tonight. 42 years! Wow we are very fortunate. Had a lovely fish meal.

I think I am going to be like Indie and tickets are going to DD1 and SIL. They are both tennis mad.
I had two WEMs today. The first from Cosmopolitan and the other from the distributor of the prize saying I had won with Prima. I did enter both comps but I think it's a typing error. A pair of tickets should arrive tomorrow or Thursday but we don't know if they are for Saturday or Sunday! Still they are delighted.
Katie great to hear you are ok. Hope you have had a good evening too.

Sheils we could do with some long walks to walk off the food and drink. Red squirrels are rare these days.

Good Morning,


Sun shining and supposed to be nice day so we are going to have a day out at local town. It has a river and woodland walks plus we can go to Aldi and Sainsbury when we are there. Like Tesco but it is nice to have a change. Also have an £8 off £40 voucher for Sainsbury.
Had a nice surprise yesterday - booked our Sept Thomson holiday through cashback site and they have paid over £31. Didn't expect to get it.


Glad you had lovely anniversary leanfun. 42yrs a long time!


Great you are feeling better Katie. You don't want to miss a free meal!
