:hello: Everyone,
hope all is well,I am fine, this morning I rescued a Baby seagull who was hurt and it was crying, reported to RSPCA,they came to rescue it and I stayed with it until they camegot given a bottle of water from a shop opposite and a chair from a restaurant which I borrowed then took back
was happy to see it go to get well.
went food shopping, came home, then went back to the trailers on the Den and apparently was told Colin Firth would meet his fans,he got in his silver car and he came up to meet me and I got a nice photo of him and me
still havent come down to earth yet from it all,it was so surreal
love and light,
Katie xxx0 -

Been a nice sunny day here too fire**fly but a bit of a nip in the air. I didn't know if to wear a coat or what
I was at dentist this afternoon indie but just for a check up. He said my gums were bleeding but nothing to worry about. (Phew!) Too expensive for treatment! Hope your appointment goes well
I got my sick note in the end! I was phoning surgery for a good while but they weren't picking up so I jumped on bus into town for it and was told it wasn't on the system, when did I request it...blah, blah, blah....then the dr walked out of his room with it!Well at least I can stop worrying about work now. I've just asked for 4 wks as I'm hoping to be ok by then.
Aw Thankyou bishops girl but I guess I'm just doing what anyone else would for their familyMy bro gas been through enough since the age of nine so he deserves a good life

Just been catching up.
Wow Katie love it that you not only got autograph but a pic with the great man himself. Brilliant. Well done rescuing the sea gull.
Sheils hope you enjoy your trip to the highlands. Brings back many memories of travelling up there with DH and DS. You will be there for your aunt when you come back. As someone said she will need company then.
Wingo you will be really busy in preparation. Families especially DH often surprise when they have to do things.
Please be realistic about the amount of time you need off.
We have had a great couple of days enjoying the sunshine. Went to the coast and met my brother and his friend. Good to catch up.
He was extremely ill for years but apart from doggy knees is well now.
Have missed DD1 when phone rang said can't be her. This week will go so quickly for them
Sarah sorry to hear of your illness. Do hope you improve soon.
Rose hang in there. Big hugs.
Alfie I was out I the garden today and our resident robin came along to watch me weeding. Just sat on a low branch watching.
Came in today to find postie had delivered a packet of Nasturtiums from RHS. Reminds me of childhood. Dad would only grow veg no time for flowers but he did plant some nasturtiums under window at front of house.
Hope everyone has a lucky week.0 -

Good morning,
Looking lovely and sunny here today and forecast for next few days looking good too. Forecast keeps changing for Highlands so goodness knows what we will get.
We don't go until Thursday Alfie. Heading for Dundee area for first night, then Elgin, Tain, Inverness and last night at Stirling. So much to see and not enough time really but will use trip to see where we want to revisit. Original idea was to see DS2 but he has changed hotels now so won't know until tomorrow when or if we will see him. He works at beautiful places and everytime we think about visiting he has moved!
Hope everyone has a lovely day.
