Phew! Weather seems to have calmed down here now. Hate to see what damage has been done by the winds and rain!

Not sure if anyone watched it but I thought benefit st was really upsetting tonight (last night). Even though I knew the child had died as it's set in the next town from me, it was heartbreaking watching it. I remember him in hospital when my DD was in as a baby too.

Morning peeps very dull grey and wet here. Sorry shiels weather is not looking too good for you heading up this way. Sorry wingo did not see Benefit St last night but it is always sad when a youngster dies even though he had a lot of problems he seemed to be happy enough. I have a relative who was deprived of oxygen when he was born although he is mobile the problems are great. He has very little understanding of the world round about him he does not talk and is still playing with toy cars at the age of 50. Enough of the doom and gloom from me. Have a lucky day everyone. Enjoy your break shiels.

My goodness - been blowing a hooley here all night
and still gusting away! Rain has been lashing down
too and still is. :eek::eek:

Might try to venture out to the garden later to see
if everything is still in place - but not yet awhile -
will wait until it's a bit calmer.

Shoulder is stinging a bit ff jerked it last night when I jumped because of thunder. It is not any more painfull than it was thankfully. But stinging feels a bit like I have a burn. Bit weird will mention it tomorrow when I go to hospital appointment.

Thanks for holiday wishes. This month is packed with my little breaks.
Hope your shoulder feels better soon rose.
Been checking weather and it looks dry for Ayr and Irvine which is all we need. Sunny here so try and take some with us! Looking quite nice for Dunoon tomorrow so quite hopeful of a rain free break. Hopefully because we are further west the weather will be different to yours rose. (fingers crossed)
Wishing everyone lots of luck and will look in later when I'm relaxing in hotel waiting on dinner. Wingo tells me this hotel is good!
