Afternoon peeps anyone winning? Hardly done any comps as it is awkward one handed and takes forever. DIL's gran is popping in this afternoon. She phoned to ask if I like stew and dumplings so she is bringing some with her. So that is dinner sorted yaaaay. Was looking in freezer and didn't know what I fancied.

We had a very hot day today. Sunshine all day. I have been in and out of the garden in an attempt not to overdo it. Had a great time clearing weeds.

Having another go at comps. DIL gran dropped of stew and brought a box of cream cakes so we made pigs of ourselves had two each. Son only worked half a day so he arrived after picking up GK's Got shopping all done. They stayed for dinner so he cooked Kids had pizza and DS and I had the stew and dumplings. Glad weather was nice for you leaanfun and you got weeding done , not very nice here today very dull with some rain.

Been bucketing down here all afternoon. Walked to my aunt and uncle's in morning while it was dry to deliver a birthday card so did get a walk.
Dentist went fine although will be needing old fillings replaced over next few years.


Great you got food brought to you rose.

It started bucketing down here at tea time Sheils, been nice most of the day. Hope your DD is all prepared for her exams Must be nerve wracking!

I could really do with my garden sorting out out too leanfun but I never get round to it!

I'm so annoyed with my mum at the min. She hasn't eaten anything since friday because my dad is not well so she is giving up herself! We had to tell her off today saying that she would end up back on a feeding tube again and we told her it wasn't fair on bro neither who is only two weeks away from transplant. Hopefully we've drummed it into her she has to eat!

Getting my hair cut n dyed tomorrow (finally! ) Also getting my eyebrows done. Could do with a night out now ....or even a holiday!
Got an email off galaxy to say they are sending out my prize :j

Don't worry my gardening is very haphazard. A real gardener would say what a lot of work needs doing!

I think we managed to talk mum round and she tried something to eat. It's just frustrating with one thing & another but there's nothing we can do about it. Thanks sheils/leanfun....I know I'm venting my frustration (sorry) hopefully things will sort themselves out.

Not sure about the magician who got through on BGT, I thought it was a bit staged when he dropped a card and then apparently audience had picked cards but nobody owned up to it!

Does anyone know if I took a picture of an old photograph, would it work in photo books? I wanted to do a nice photo book for Father's Day with stories to it starting from old photographs then ordering one of those photo book things but don't know if pics will turn out right this way?
