Hi everyone.

We're back home. Thought we would be blown away in Southampton today really blowing a gale.

Rose so pleased you are better but sorry to hear you were caught in rain.
Katie hope you enjoy your Now TV.
At least only four day week for those at work. Just thought many children will be off because of polling stations on Thursday.

Came home to an email saying I had won a T Shirt. They said I had to send full name, address and ID to some email in 24 hours!! Ho ho

I am not adverse to change but looking at new layout for MSE while away I found it really hard on my eyes and difficult to navigate. So am sticking to old at present.

Wellcome home leanfun been windy nearly everywhere today I think. Calmed down a bit here now very little wind and no rain. Hope it stays like that as I have to go out in the morning.

Firefly I thought it was a spoof WEM as they were asking for ID and reply in 24 hours. For quite a while I have been only entering via this site. I have searched for Magic Weekend Summer Bash competition and can't find one!

Wow just looked up kingstone press and there is such a competition. Seems I have won a T shirt.

Can only put my Woolley head down to babysitting!

Thanks for the info on hduk fire**fly :A It sounds good but I'm terrible when it comes to change so just stick to what I know with mse! I only ever use this site or fb now with the occasional twitter comps.
It was really windy here too, even jasper was banging his paws on the french doors to come in! He's scared of the wind!

Nice to see you back in Alfie and hope you're keeping well Have you still got your little motor that the family got you? I noticed you still busy in the garden and doing your little jobs here & there! Be careful!

I once met a family from Ayreshire while on hols years ago and we kept in touch for years and were invited down but never got to go. We've lost touch now but it would have been nice for us to go

Hope you are all ok.

Still a tad windy here (not as bad as yesterday)
but very wet! Still - can see over yonder a bit of blue sky
so fingers crossed the weather will cheer up. The birds
are singing away though - lovely hearing them.

Morning all very dull and damp here this morning. Very little wind thank goodness. Have to go out this morning docs appointment and I need to buy a wedding present. Not a big one. Neighbours son is getting married so going to get some nice towels or something so hoping rain stays off. Did an online shop last night it is coming this afternoon. Think I have myself organised so that I can have some time comping without interuption lol. Have a lucky day everyone. Hope shiels got back ok yesterday.

Bucketing down here so glad we are back Not really been much wind here I don't think.
Got home safely but was too tired to pop in. We stopped at Craignethan Castle and New Lanark/Falls of Clyde on way home.
It was raining though and we walked to Bonnington Linn (waterfall)
and got soaked through. We had to change in the car when we got back! Would like to visit again on a nice day as we didn't see any wildlife or anything.
Thats us home until 18th now as we have DDs & DS3s birthdays coming up plus DD has her Highers to do.


Wingo we just had a day in Glasgow and then returned to Hamilton. (used the bus) Glad you had a lovely time and thanks for the hotel info.
