We have DD1 her husband and son coming here for a late Sunday lunch soon.

Re hair I really feel for all who start having grey hair when they are young. DH and I were very lucky still only some grey hair now. Doesn't always mean it's in the genes. DD2 dyed her hair for her wedding a few years ago as she said she had too many grey hairs.

When they were last here GS suddenly out of the blue said to his Dad 'you've got no hair!' Well he has around the sides. Oh dear.

Sylvia it's always good to go away but a relief to be home again. Over next two weeks just enjoy your visitors. You'll soon catch up with comps.

Earlier read it's going to be warm this next week. Met Office long term forecasting apparently is for a heat wave. Bring it on.

Hi everyone,


Well thats me getting back to normal now. Wedding past and DS2 and girlfriend away back up north. They have been having great weather up there! Hope it is nice when we go in June.
It was dry for the wedding yesterday and bucketed down through the night but been lovely and sunny this afternoon.
We are off to Northumberland on Tuesday so will need to get organised. DD is still off school so prefers us to go away then.
Having chicken stir fry tonight.

Evening, glad the wedding went off ok sheils. We have had a sunny but windy day here today. I went and saw the Cinderella film last night, very Disney and had all the sparkle they are good at doing. I went to work this morning 7oclock start.eek!. Don't usually work sundays but they asked so thought i would go in for a change.Hope you have all had a good day.
