been a beautiful day here :j
just come back in from the garden where we all had a few
chilled drinks & some cheese toasties
with mixed salad, was lovely
getting a bit chilly out now but they say it's going to be a
nice one again tomorrow :j

yes, it takes the birds a while to get used to using a
new feeding station but with patience & regular feeding
they'll soon be flocking every day,
when I first moved to where I live now it took a few weeks
for them to get used to it but nowdays I don't know what they do with the feed :eek:
at this time of the year i'm topping up in the morning &
the evenings again,

Hi great day here too. Lovely sunshine so good.

DD1 had all clear at scan so we are all over the moon. She is physically on the mend no need for an operation.

DD2 went to midwife and all going really well. Just over two weeks to due date.

Car did not work yesterday but AA man sorted battery and husband was able to drive over to DD1 and join me with grandson.
At DD1s we watched a cat climb a really high climber on wall at back of garden and then sit there sunning itself.

Hdh bird table sounds great. Must be amazing to see a number of birds. I am sure we don't have as many around here now as there used to be.

Good news on your DD1's scan leanfun xx I imagine it will be difficult for her when DD2's baby comes too but fingers crossed things work out well for her soon. Not long to wait for your new GC to arrive

Good luck with your new bird watching hobby hdh It's fascinating to see what comes in your garden We used to get ducks in ours but they don't come any more.

It's been a lovely day here too fire**fly and I finally got DH to get lawnmower out! I would love to just have salad when it's like this weather but DH always wants something different! Hope you have a lovely day in the garden tomorrow too

Fingers crossed you gave nice weather for wedding on Saturday Sheils. I saw your harbour pic with fish n chips! It looks lovely, reminds me of Whitby.

Well we finally got 2 potential dates for op but will find out for definite on Monday exact date. It's because bro needs a full day in theatre that its taking so long. It's not going to be 7th may now as we thought. At least things are progressing again though.

I haven't had anything decent in post for a good while and Postie keeps turning up with parcels for neighbour just to torment me more!
Hope there's been some decent wins in here!

Oh, glad to hear you now get loads of birds FF, I shall enjoy persevering and hope the numbers continue to grow. I'll be amazed if we get ducks though wingobins.

We too have taken in parcels for neighbours.
Looks as though sun is coming out here promised hottest day so far. DD1 might come around and I will get GS gardening.

Morning all Sun is shining already but I'm trying to get the lazy bunch out of bed! I even took all the bed sheets off sons bed while he was still laying in it to try and get him up but he's still not phased!
Just waiting for washer to finish and get my washing out then I will go to mums and leave kids with their dad if they can't be bothered getting up!

I've given Buddha a good lucky rub fire**fly and he winked at me and said 'today's your lucky day wingo'

I think you're right hdh, sunshine really does make you get up to date with jobs you've been putting off Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts

Have a good day with family leanfun I love it when all the family is together especially when it's nice weather and we can all sit in garden chatting

Jasper has just been barking annoyingly at French doors while he was in back garden and when I went to see why he was trying to tell me there was a bee inside! I thought he was just trying to wake kids up!
