Glad you have some sunshine firefly. Its very dull here but doesn't seem as cold the last few days. Can't wait for it to get warmer. Bulbs still not out here.

Morning all,


Bit late in today. Have been sorting out the car insurance. Was getting quotes so that DH could phone up and negotiate with our company. They weren't that much higher but we wanted the milage put up to as we have some long trips planned. Got them down from £208 to £173 so good mornings work!
DH giving the lawn its first cut - looks like spring out there.
Have ordered up some magnesium supplements as I read on internet some of problems I have could be caused by magnesium deficiency so worth a try! ENT clinic appointment won't be for a while probably.


Keeping fingers crossed for you and your bro wingo. x

It's time for 'Dontone's daft question of the day'
I didn't want to start a new thread for fear of being called a numpty lol, but I need to ask before DH gets carried away......


I won a BAFTA goody bag (I've just posted a piccy of it in the IWIWIW bit) anyway, there is a voucher for a weeks stay at a hotel in Bali, and I just want to ask if....


Has anyone who has won in the past ever used one of the holiday vouchers? We wouldn't mind - just looking to see if we can afford flights - using the thing, but I'm just wondering if it is actually ok it use it? IYSWIM? Is it just for BAFTA nominees only? Can't see anything in any competition t&c's either.
Sorry if it's a daft question, but I've never won anything like this before, so I was just wondering. Thanks.

Evening peeps hope you are all well. Done a spring clean in living room and now have a sore back. Serves me right as I forget how heavy my couches are and it is definately a two person job moving them but it is all done now. Even did a quick shampoo of carpet. So been using muscles that do not usually get a workout lol. Still some catching up on comps to do but I will get there. Lighter mornings have been waking me earlier as well wingo but I just get up and make a cuppa sit on the couch and watch the news till I am ready to shower and dress and head to newsagents across the road.
