Think my son has some kind of sixth sense. Just sitting down to soup crusty bread and some cheese and in he came. Kids were at swimming so he was not in a hurry to get home so he had tea with me. Then took soup home for kids. Cousin popped in with perfume samples and some clinique skin care and makeup samples.

Brilliant wins for you & DH sheils :T :j Cash wins are always the best! :) I claimed my £5 on tombola last week but didn't win! I like tombola site though.
Hope you get your shower fixed soon!

I made a soup yesterday too fire**fly from left over veg. I had some bacon bits too so put that in. You can't go wrong with a soup! :)

It's a shame we generally only ever see family at funerals & weddings kitten :( Still, it's nice to catch up with memories. ((Hugs))

Have you been in town today Sylvia? I imagine you will be minding the kids again soon when they are off for Easter :) My youngest DD's school has decided to change their holiday and put one week for Easter and 2 wks for May where as my other kids school and the school I work in have 2 wks off at Easter and 1 off in May! :o So I have to arrange childcare now in May!

Your son must have a sense of when you're cooking Rose! He knows when to arrive at yours! :D

Nothing exciting in post for me. Hope your Buddha will bring me some luck again fire**fly! :p I've been working over again this week. DD's got an appointment tomorrow to get medication for her anxiety since her autism diagnosis so hoping that helps a bit.
DD2 finally got her urine sample back from Dr's and she has to put another sample in and he wants to see her but nothing to worry about. It's took almost 2 wks to come back!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Well done Sheils, you are having a really good start to March, lets hope you continue to be lucky this month.

Its funny how family seem to be able to smell when something nice is cooking and turn up at tea time Rose. The problem I have is that 5 of them turn up unanounced and its difficult to find enough of the same thing for 5 peeps.

Had a really quiet day here, went grocery shopping this morning and been pottering around and doing comps since.

    Have a nice evening folks.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Thanks everyone! I have had such an unlucky spell it is nice to win. No sign of any prizes but the cash will keep me happy. Have booked a night away on Saturday to join Sunday and Monday. Loads of bargains about. DD is working all day Saturday anyway and is inviting a friend to stay the night.

That will be a real pain for you having to arrange child care wingo.
Good idea changing holidays but needs to be the same in the same area. Glad that is all behind me now. Hope you get it sorted OK.

DS3 cooked our dinner tonight - sirloin steaks in a creamy mushroom and mustard sauce. :)

With a bit of luck anyway Sheils I might be off sick if the op is in between. Still waiting on a date and it's been 7 weeks now since bro last took ill. He had to wait 6 wks for his stomach to settle and have another scan.

It's so cold again. I thought the weather was changing and getting warmer! :( I had to put another layer of clothing on today!

The waiting must be terrible wingo. Feeling cold here tonight too. DD ran round the corner to visit a friend just wearing a hoody and came back chittering. Why do we buy them coats?

Wingo that is going to make a lot of people angry I would think some parents just can't get reliable childcare. Shiels good on you booking an extra night might as well get some enjoyment from the money. Sylvia I am glad I only have the one lol but end up feeding more with the food he takes away. sons friend called in a short while ago to see if I needed anything from Asda as he was going down for a few things. He has settled in now and his parents are coming up for a week so that will be nice for him.
