Morning all,

Woke up to snow this morning but the sun is melting it now so not too bad. Extremely windy though!

It's annoying what's happened to your slate sylvia, my Mum had that problem a couple of years back.

Gosh wingo your neighbour sounds like a right handful, feel sorry for the workmen!

I've had a nut tree for over 10 years now firefly. I had nuts on it last year and year before but the squirrels steal them all before they are even ripe!

Wingo, I had to laugh at the toad!! Nightmare neighbour.
Ff the tree sounds lovely, it probably means more to you as you planted it etc.

We (DD and I) are getting a little stir crazy staying in, the weather is gorgeous. We have been in the garden and up the street though.
Today is Day 3 of potty training, it's slow to be honest. She knows when she needs to go but sometimes she will sit on potty with no trouble at all or scream and cry and refuse to sit on potty or toilet. We will get there xx

Never won a tree but don't think I have ever entered for one.
Mira guy been and fixed shower although kept going on about high water pressure? Will ask plumber when he comes.
Been trying to snow here but not coming to anything.

Glad the shower is fixed now Sheils, just the plumber to wait on now then.

Glad its not just me having slate trouble Whizzy, its making mounds like mole hills.

Hope you cope with the pottie training Kitten, will they help with it at Nursery as well as that might help

I bet your squids will be after the nuts when they come on your tree firefly

Just as well I had asked the plumber to come today as the stopcock started leaking really badly after being turned off and on again by the Mira guy. All sorted now anyway, thank goodness.

out & got caught in it :eek:

hope all is well,I am fine today,cleaned my flat doing the vaccumming,swept and cleaned my kitchen floor and cleaned my bathroom.


went out to a coffee group where it was only 1 person there and talked to them and then I went to the post office and then on to Waitrose to a shop.

came home and now relaxing for the rest of the day.

Kitten I didn't realise what you meant by 'toad' until I read back! Blooming predictive text! I meant road!
The funny thing is...the shop where I often pop in thought it was me the workmen were talking about! They thought I lived at that number!
It would be nice to be able to have a drink let alone parade naked and messing with the work men's equipment!

Did you get any snow your way Sylvia? I got caught in a blizzard coming home from work! I'm all snug in my pj's now after a nice bath while DD is at gymnastics

Would be nice to see your tree with nuts on fire**fly and hope you manage to beat the squidgies to them!

I'm sure your DD will get there kitten, the first week is the hardest. I tried a potty downstairs and a potty upstairs with my first but with the others I got one of those small toilet seats to sit them straight on. After a few accidents we got there in the end!
