Well done on your DD and her friend for trying, it must have been nerve racking for them. Glad you managed to get the car fixed quickly. Shame about the boot sale.

Very windy here and dried loads of washing, just the iron to do now:(

Probably just as well the boot sale got cancelled....it's started snowing here! Don't think it's laying though.

shame they cancelled boot sale wingo,
used to love going to them on sunday mornings though
it was a long time ago it was always fun
got a lot of bargains from them & some made me quite a
bit of money :j

on lots of the herbs/plants :j
does anyone remember the hazelnut trees some of us won
a few years back, well mine are still going strong &
looking very healthy,
am hoping this year will get some nuts from them :j

Showers here this morning.
Have guy coming to look at our temperamental shower this morning. It is under guarantee so not so bad. Things are even more annoying when you don't know if they will work or not. Prefer it when they just don't work at least you know where you are with them.
Plumber coming to sort stopcock in afternoon too as it is leaking after water switched off on Thursday while he checked shower so busy house today!
Hope we all have a lucky week.

Good morning all, it has rained during the night but looks quite sunny now. Sorry if you have rain.

Glad you hazelnut trees are doing well and hope you get some nuts from them soon. Love the bulbs coming through but can't believe I left so many in when I put the membrane and slate down. They are making a right mess of my slate I can tell you. Will have to sort it out when the weather gets better.

Hope you get your shower and plumbing sorted Sheils, I agree it is better if it just doesnt work at all then you know where you are.

Hope the potty training is going well Kitten.

Wow the tree has lasted fire**fly I remember when you won it. That wasn't the same one as the twig thing we all won from Kleenex/andrex (whichever it was) was it? My twig was all bent and horrible so I binned mine!

Sounds like you have a busy house today Sheils! Well at least you're getting all your jobs done anyway! I'm still waiting for hubby to finish off everything he started here! I'm gonna nickname him bob-a-job!

The suns came back out here Sylvia but it was trying to snow again this morning and was sloshy & slippy taking kids to school. I don't start until 11 today but working till 3.10 everyday.

Apparently one of my neighbours keeps getting drunk and stopping the workmen working on our roads and messing with their jcb etc! She even came out naked and trying to take their hard hats off! :eek: We saw her last week knocking the equipment over! Hope they come back and finish our toad off!
