Hi! Hope everyone is ok and doesn't mind me posting here. I noticed that for magazine comps you have certain people posting the comps. A new magazine with puzzles came out yesterday called OMG, and i have posted the comps on here. Just wondered who i should talk to about me being the person to post the comps on here weekly? Would love to be able to help post comps on here :) thanks!

hi avvie, afaik & it's usually always been since years on here,
if you are purchasing/paying for the mag & posting the comp on a regular basis then it's generally accepted as you will be the reg op for them,
afaik you don't have to 'talk' to anyone about it,
the only 'exceptions' I can think of is the puzzler.com & TAB monthlys as they are 'grouped' together in threads to help keep issue numbers/reg ops/peeps/etc follow through with the issue numbers/etc,
& then usually the ops will post on the thread/s for them or ask in CCC if they need cover/need a new poster,

with the weekly ones they are posted as a normal comp/s when the mag comes out,
usually mag posters will ask in the CCC
    Compers Chat Corner
if someone will/could cover for them if they are unable to post through being on hols/sick or whatever :)

am saying that's how it's been on here since I first came & afaik it's still the same type of thing,
if i'm wrong am sure someone will soon let us know :)
please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly. k2u58ioz4c8e.png

there's also a posting from MSE in this thread..
PLEASE READ - Posts by the MSE Team and BG's - merged

    that helps..

    Posting Comps

1 How can I find comps to post on here, I’ve entered loads & want to give some back?

Regular compers on MSE already post the daily ITV comps & will arrange for someone to cover them if they aren't going to be around - because the search facility won't pick something up for at least 30 mins after posting, please remember that regular posters will probably already have this in hand!
Also, the magazine comps that have their own threads will have lists of people that buy the magazines, answer the puzzles then post the answers on here for others. Please respect these existing posters as it is their money they are handing over to buy the mags & give us the answers. If you are interested in helping out or posting a particular magazine then either post in that mags thread or if you can't find the actual thread then post in the Compers Chat Corner Board to ask about it & another comper will be along to help point you in the right direction.

At the end of the day, no comper 'owns the right' to post a particular comp but please take a moment, have a look around & ask in the Compers Chat Corner Board, if necessary, to ask if there is a regular poster for a particular comp. Let's keep this a friendly place to play, avoid duplication & misunderstandings :)

Well done on you win Whizzy. Sorry your van failed the MOT, its always a worry. Hope you manage to find the part you need soon so you can get it on the road again.

Had to go and get GS from School as he had fell over but he seems OK apart from bruised knees.

Having a nice cottage cheese salad tonight for tea.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

    Hi all

It's St David's Day here Sunday and it's always a big celebration here in Wales. It's been nice to see the little school children dressed in traditional welsh dress. The girls wear welsh costume with hat and apron the boys wear waist coat and dai cap or welsh rugby shirts. My DD brought home a painted picture of a Daffodil and Leek which was nice. Everyone wears their Daff on their top and it always reminds me of Spring. I love it!!
I'm not a welsh speaker but Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant Hapus - Happy St David's Day.
    Let's be happy!!
