Been raining all night but looks like it has dried up now.
Had another long sleep. Don't understand why I have been so tired
Managed to book 3 nights with Holiday Inn on their bargain point breaks which came out yesterday. (Free) Been working their system and latest point offers so should get at least another freebie.


Glad you got back safely Sylvia.

Good morning all, wet here again. Have to take the car in today for MOT and service so going on the bus into town while they do it.

You are doing well with your breaks Sheils, where are you going this time? Good luck for an end of month win.

You are up early Sylvia!
I added a night at Scotch Corner to our Pickering trip and having 2 nights at Hamilton! Been meaning to have a trip to Glasgow for ages - haven't been since DS1 lived there as he had parking. Will have a day there from Hamilton. Grandparents lived near Hamilton and spend days there when a teenager but won't know it now probably.

Had to be up early to take the car in. Trip sounds good. Places change so much you don't recognise them after a while.

Car has got through its MOT for another year. They wanted to charge me £169. I told them I had had a letter saying service and MOT for £130. They said the letter would have said £149 which I knew was not right. I said OK but I would have to look elsewhere next year. They then said they would do it for £130.

No wins here today, anyone else had any?

The sun has come out now but it is still very cold.
