Saw odds today of 500/1 it was Wellard the dog. I'm going for Dr Legg meself*

*for me, it comes under the catergory of 'I couldn't care less'

BTW, It's been one of those days.
Had one of those 'you entered a competition to win a tablet, and......' Turned out it was a sales call, gggrrrrr. I told him off because I thought I had actually won, he was asking me how would it be used if I did win. Don't you just hate that when your hopes get built up and dashed like that? Thing is, my mobile phone hardly ever rings, so when you get a call like that, it sort of messes you up a bit with excitement. Never mind

Oh, and comedy/angry moment of the day. My brother has had a £50 dog poop fine from the Council today, trouble is, is that our kid doesn't actually own a dog. Good job he was at work at the time of the dumping offence, so he can contest it. It's annoyed him, yet amused him at the same time, because of someone's bare faced cheek.

Just caught up on todays comps between being out earlier and cooking for son and his friend next door for weekend. They are bringing three friends from the base through for the weekend to give them a change of scenery. So made a big fish pie for their tea tomorrow when they get here got some peas soaking for pie and peas for later at night. They are having a lads night in. Told him I would make bacon rolls and take them in on Saturday morning. They are playing golf in the afternoon so they are going to get their tea at golf club. Have to make a pot of soup for Sunday as son and dil are having them for Sunday dinner.
