DD is still asleep so I'm having a quick cuppa before I put the banners outside. You would think who ever invented balloons would have come up with a way to tie them off that didn't include cutting off the circulation to your fingers !lol

OH is narked he has 2 brothers and a sister ,we are seeing the sister Thursday so DD will get a card from her then but apart from that and a card from one of her cousins there's no card from the uncles, I have told him I'm done with them

Afternoon everyone. I haven't been able to get on here for a while Just too much bad things have been happening I wonder when it will all start to turn good again
We're are in full fundraising mode here ATM. The 1st cause was for the wee family who lost their house in the fire. Thankfully mum, dad and baby are all out of hospital now, and doing well :T We've been trying to raise a bit of money for them as well as getting essentials for them like nappies, clothes etc

I myself have taken a bit of a step back from that now as I'm focusing on my friend and her family. They got the news last week that their LO has Leukemia at 4 years old So it's been a tough week, and a shock to everyone.

I'm in the process of making wee things to sell on Ebay. I'd had this idea to make these after receiving one from one of the children in my class last year and thought it would be good for an extra bit of money, but am now going to be making them and selling them to put towards the fundraising for my friend's cause.
They're wee end of term gifts for teachers, Classroom Assistants. It's a wee joke kind of thing survival kit. I thought it was great when I received it last year and was totally different from the usual chocolates, wine and soap stuff that I end up giving away.

I'll try and post a picture of them when I get round to making them up. I just hope they turn out well lol.

Will have to look and see about this Etsy place too and see if I can sell them on there.

Chrissy, sometimes family are just so thoughtless. Hope DD has a lovely day and your fingers recover from their balloon experience.

Feisty, hope all goes well with the IVF and your hormones settle down soon. Hopefully DH will understand it's not really you talking.

Freespirit, hope the migraines are staying away and you aren't feeling foggy again being back on the meds.

DH was feeling quite good yesterday so we did a few bits in the garden and had a nice day but back to normal today . I've been working for a few hours this morning so going to get myself sorted out now. Had a nice ride on my bike yesterday so might even have a little ride later if the rain stays off.

CHRISSY i hope you have all had a good day and DD loved her presents, oh that used to get my goat with exH family over birthdays, just couldnt be bothered with us and our children but then expected everything from us for them, card, present, visit etc i just emailed them all in the end and said in the nicest possible way dont bother for us and we wont bother for you lot

IRISHROSE oh honey you have had nothing but bad news just lately havent you? I hope to god that they can cure the little one, you all must be so shocked and upset. What wonderful news to hear the young family are all out of hospital and getting so much support from everyone, i have wondered a lot lately what had happened. It seems a lot of people are really going through rough times atm and just hoping for the good times to come back, i spoke to one of our girls yesterday from here and she is really having a bad time too

PEPPAPIG oh thankyou no migraines atm but have had last 3 days in bed feeling awful after going back on the tablets :eek: i really have to get an appt sorted out at the docs, because although most of these symptoms are just going back on them i really do not like the fug now i have had a couple of weeks of feeling so different, i just need to work myself up to ringing but feel free to nag me, seen as my main nag our lovely nanamia isnt here oh that is lovely that DH managed to get out in the garden, it will do him the power of good even though he is back in bed today, it all helps. I was supposed to go to HB and Asda with DD1 today but i just couldnt manage it

Irish rose my heart goes out to you, there are times in life when all the rubbish seems to descend at once and you feel sorely tested. Hang on in there girl it will pass soon. And then much brighter things will appear on your horizon. My thoughts and prayers are with your friends little one.
I hope that the treatment goes well and little one is full of fight to beat this.

Chrissey, hope the birthday went off well and you all had a lovely time. I did the initial enquiry about sharing the tax allowance as I haven't worked at all for the last two year. Anyway I had the email inviting me to apply now and I've gone and accepted a short term piece of work so I'm using it myself! If I don't use all the allowance I'll apply but as I can only share 10% of what I'm not using it probably won't be worth it this year. Will do it next year for definite. Glad it's all sorted for you though.

The one near us is like that, the staff park anywhere and everywhere in the near by roads it feels like. Though... so do patients! It's awful have heard of people not being able to have operations on feet/ legs because they had to park further away and walk, to get there have swollen feet and sent home again !
