My next payment date is 28th dec sunday, nationwide card.
Would paying it online in full with my current account today or tomorrow be ok.

I suspect tomorrow will be too late. After today, there are no more bank working days before Sunday.

Sunday 28th is your payment due by date...not your payment due date, ie it's not a target to achieve! Suggest you send a payment immediately.

If your past the previous payment date then no issues. I always pay mine early.

My statement data is the 15th and the py by date is around the 12 of the following month. Its set to pay by DD about a week before but usually i pay on the last or first day of the month.

The only issue is paying before the previous payment date if that makes sense?

I always pay mine within a couple of days of getting my statement.

I know I could always opt to pay it in full each month but I never get around to it.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

    Yes thanks for the replies.

I have not used the credit card before this month, even though i got it about 5 months ago. My statement date seems to be the 3rd of each month, my purchase this month was on the 17th so i am thinking that it is not due until i can see the statement on the 3rd jan, and the payment due date for the 28th dec will not have any payments on it ?

Thats right. A transaction has to appear on your statement before they take the payment so if you purchased something after your December Statement was produced it will appear on your January one and then be payable in late January.

It might be worth you setting up a direct debit so that payments are collected from your bank account automatically..

Beware that if you pay an amount before the statement issue date, and don't pay in full, then the scheduled statement will be issued with the new balance and a minimum payment required.

If you pay by faster payments direct from bank, nationwide will credit the payment as soon as it is received (i.e. it will be on time). If you have a direct debit and the payment due date is not a working day, it will be taken on the next working day, even though this is actually after the due date and will cause no problems.
