Thinking of buying the smart boiler switch

I was thinking of buying that as I already have a few LWRF devices around the house. The idea is that I would turn OFF the boiler when I am not in the house and then turn it on via the Smartphone whenever I am in.

What are the PROS and CONS of what I am thinking please heating experts?

I will be using this in conjunction with a Vaillant Pro Ecotec model.

The main con of what you are suggesting is that you will spend £65 to avoid walking to the boiler and switching it on and off. Is the boiler so inconveniently located that this is worth that much to you?

Of course, if you use this instead of having it on a twice-a-day months-on-end timer then you will save money - but you do not need a smartphone interfaced control to achieve that.
