Hand deliver or post job application?

In addition to the others' comments, I'd observe that you need to comply with the requirements set down in the advert for submitting the application.
If they require it to be done electronically, then the message you're sending out by not using this method, is that you can't use technology and/or follow instructions. The clear risk to posting / handing in the application is also that it won't get processed in the electronic way and therefore you won't be considered.
Thanks everybody, I am really grateful for replies and I guess this is what I worried about, the crux, as seen as not following rules, I'm going to be honest I'd applied before ages ago though it also hadn't occurred to me particularly as I was now at this application, in receipt of a device being used which is more then likely on their database
:o:o may have been hence the redirect in first place! Apologies that nugget just didn't figure till after posting!
Anyway the store now have my CV as specified as 1 of 2 ways to apply which I intend to follow up as am now very lucky to be an owner of a tablet as the mother of all unexpected crimbo pressies! so had another device to use, either that or my name's been blocked in advance! ha ha who can blame em!
anyway been asked to see an old buddy of a recruitment agency tomorrow, without moving a muscle but that'll require an even bigger tail behind legs but I know I gotta get on with it
Thanks again for your time, I should have been keepcalmanddontbesosilly! x0 -
Not that simple act alone, but how aboutThis makes no sense whatsoever. How on earth could that be construed as being attention seeking?
a phone call to ask if it is OK to bring the form in by hand,
followed by another phone call to say when the applicant plans to bring it in by hand,
followed by a phone call to ask if they can have a look round and a quick chat with the lead recruiter when they bring it in by hand,
followed by a request to do so when they actually bring it in by hand even though they've been told that that's not possible,
followed by a phone call to check that the lead recruiter received their application form after they brought in by hand,
followed by a phone call on the deadline date to check whether or not they've been shortlisted
followed by daily phone calls after that until you can tell them whether or not they've been shortlisted
followed by daily phone calls to ask for feedback about why they have not been shortlisted ...
I am not exaggerating much!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Sorry Savvy_Sue, I must have missed the part when the OP asked if they should carry out the EIGHT points you made. It sounded to me like they were asking a simple question, not for a guide to stalking.0
