Has anyone been past a store that has closed for the day to see if any signs up...?...I'm heading out in a min and will drive past my small local store and have a look and report back if I see anything....x

Pretty much. Boots were telling peeps on Twitter to get there early.

I remember the good old days too... Was fab sauntering in at opening time, buying for the birthdays and even picking up a bargain perfume set in my local store.
Now my local has tat shipped in and anything good shipped out:-(

I've just driven past my local store and there are no signs up at all, for either a 50% or 70% sale!

Can't get to a store tomorrow as I am working all day.
This will be my 9th year doing the sale,it is so different to when I started doing it,nobody knew about it I used to have the whole shop to myself (no joke) it was bliss.

there are more than 6 pages - once you get to page 6 another lot of pages show up (yesterday I think it went up to 26 pages). Lots of stuff out of stock though.

last year was my first online order on the morning of the 70% sale - I checked out around 7am as i recall, had it delivered to store (i always do this as i'm near several stores so i can just collect when it suits me, rather than having to get a card through the door and have to go to the post sorting office to collect, Boots collection from store is just way more convenient for me).

even at opening time (8am) on the day of the sale last year, my favourite sale store didn't have their sales signs up, so I don't tend to pay much attention to what it says in the window :rotfl:.
