It usually goes down about midnight if I recall correctly so they can update the sale prices, so if it's down then it's looking good for Wednesday!

Assuming you haven't all got me on ignore , because no-one noticed when I pointed this out before a few posts ago. A poster some pages back put all the previous dates the Boots 75/70% started. It doesn't work out as the 3rd Wednesday after Christmas as I state in below posts, but the last time Dec 25th fell on a Thursday (2010) like it did in 2014, the sale started on 14th Jan. You will also see it's never (so far) been any later than the 20th Jan

2010 Wed 29th Dec,

So in both Jan 2011 and 2012 the 70/75% fell on the 4th Wednesday after Christmas.

If we go on the last time Christmas day fell on a Thursday from your chart,as it did for Christmas 2014, then the sale started on 14th Jan. Fingers crossed it will be that date as I'm off and working 21st!

Like I said my maths isn't great, so no offence taken if someone points out I've done it wrong.

I made a grid to check the dates from this info.

It has not always fallen on the 3rd Wednesday after Christmas, some years it has been the 4th. It has not always fallen the 3rd Wednesday in January, sometimes it has been the 2nd.

The best indication of a pattern, is last time December 25th fell on a Thursday, as it did for Christmas 2014, then the sale started on Wednesday 14th January. Currently that's the closest to a guess we have.

I haven't ignored you Spendless, I think you're right and I think the sale will start on Weds this week, however its all speculation as per usual on the Boots sale thread until it goes live online in the wee small hours .

well on Wednesday I will either be dead on my feet or dancing about. I cant get to store on the 14th due to meetings, so will have to be up at the crack of dawn to try (lol) and order online. Im hoping its the 21st as I can get the time off work!
