TopCashback / Tesco Phone shop - very poor customer service

I got a mobile phone with tesco via topcashback - Nov 13. Did everything I was supposed to
May 14 Topcashback advised I would recieve the funds - "insertion has been ALLOCATED to your TopCashback account, with respect to this Missing CashBack Claim. Please allow this to PROGRESS to ‘Payable’, and when happy to do so, please close this claim using the ‘Close this claim’ button above
Aug14 Tesco are saying '“Order Cancelled” and are declining the cashback yet I am now 13 months into a 24 month contract.
TopCashBack will not persue to try and get them to overturn this even though Tesco are using false information as part of their decision making.
Any advice welcomed. Topcashback should surely overturn the decision as Tesco declining the cashback on 'order cancelled' is clearly false.
Thank you!!

Topcashback customer care is awful, no existant in my experience! I had a similar problem, I signed up for Sky broadband, I have used Topcashback for years so I know the score with cookies etc and know what to do and what not to do. Despite providing the sky id and order number my not inconsiderable sum was declined. Topcashback said it was sky that had declined it....so I contacted sky they said they had no knowledge of the offer so I provided them with the url to Topcashback sky incentives they said nothing to do with them and to talk to Topcashback. I go back to Topcashback and they do nothing apart from state, repeatedly, that they intend to do nothing as it's out of their hands. I went round and round in circles with a completely inept customer services who have little inclination to do anything apart from watch the referral revenue roll in. If I was a cynic I might think that their bulletproof argument of 'its not us its them' is just a way for them to keep hold of extra revenues. I'd be surprised if you got anywhere but best of luck.0

Not much you can do really other than contact TopCashBack. I find that Quidco has the best customer service, never had this sort of issue with them and I'm getting on for earning £2.5k with them.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -
unfortunately there is no point going direct to the seller as they are often oblivious to referral and affiliate links0

There is a Topcashback thread on this forum somewhere where a rep at least contacts you and tries to assist.
I feel your pain though - multiple things I have purchased havent turned into cash and thats even with raising issues.
Not great at all0
