Early payments of benefits into bank account

Hello

I have a friend who is disabled and his girlfriend is his carer (as well as holding down a job)

They bank with RBS, and they normally receive their payments into their account every Monday.

With RBS, the payment shows in their account and is available to use on the Saturday.

But they wish to move away from RBS due to a variety of poor service.

Are RBS/Natwest the only banks that allow this early access to their benefits, or are there other banks who allow this, as it helps with the budgeting and planning?

Many thanks.

    Thank you.

A two day advance helps with their budgeting and allows them to do their shopping at the weekend.

Yorkshire Bank (and therefore presumably also Clydesdale Bank?) used to operate the way RBSG do. Not sure if they still do?

They should probably start practicing good budgeting habits, regardless of what day they'll get paid. If they budget properly, they'll be able to afford shopping at the weekend, even if their benefits do get paid late one day etc.
Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.
