Inrenet Explorer changed from Google to MSN after loading Skype

Although we run Firefox for most things, somtimes it is quicker to use IE, and we have Google as the homepage on both, because we prefer it as a search engine.
However, following the installation of Skype the other day, it seems that IE is now using MSN UK news (which I hate) as the homepage, and I cannot find out how to change it back (despite having changed homepages in the past).
Can anyone help please?

Open IE, click on the setting cog in the top right hand corner, click Internet Options, and in General set Home Page as https://google.co.uk/

Then you should be sorted.

And next time you have an update to do for Skype note that there are boxes to untick to avoid this and also getting Bing when you don't want it.
