Google Chrome Bookmarks

Has anyone else's bookmarks switched to the new style? I hate it and want to go back to how it was before. They are now in large tab styles as opposed to a list.

Even bookmarking a page is quite onerous.

Also I cannot see how to organise a folder into alphabetic sort. For example I bookmark all comps as they are posted in folders for each month. I then could sort them so that they are in end date order which was fab. Now I cannot see a sort option :mad:

I use Chrome and my Bookmarks haven't been changed (yet?)

Mine just changed this morning and I have read they are rolling it out gradually and lots of people are complaining about it.

I'll be deleting loads of mine after tomorrow anyway - I've got loads of Advent folders to remove, all set to different entry times

What's the primary difference with the new ones?

Mine are still the same - though lately they have been playing up - like if I save something in eg my 'Advents am', it decided to save them in my 'Advents pm'!

Is the new look very different?

It says: "For now, Chrome users who don't like the new bookmarks manager can restore the list view by typing chrome://flags in the address bar, hitting Enter, then searching for the flag labeled Enable Enhanced Bookmarks and setting it to Disabled. The old-style manager will return after Chrome is restarted." Might help you, OP?

Otherwise, yay, a new Christmas present from Chrome to look forward to. I loved when they gifted me a revamped browser and erased all my bookmarks in the process.

Yep tried disabling via the chrome flags but sadly it hasn't worked for me.

From what I have read the "sort" option is no more which I really cannot understand.

Oh well back to Firefox now.
