Hi - hope you can help,
Got a cheque for £300 quid from Barclays this morning stating that they've made an error in the way that they've reported information about my business account to Credit Reference Agencies and how it may have affected me gaining or increasing credit.
Cannot find anything about this on't'internet and was wondering if this is something anyone else has come across or can shed any light on?

Ring them up and ask them and you'll get a proper answer not speculation.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Hi
Also had this letter this morning - from what I can gather, it affects a small proportion of those who had/have had a Corporate or Commercial Barclaycard only. I understand that they reported account running facts (I.e. Overdraft usage) incorrectly, which could have caused a business to struggle to get credit.
Also received the cheque for £300 which I am happy with, although can see this turning into something bigger if businesses have been significantly impacted. Luckily, my business was not affected as there are no recent credit applications.
