Using up milk

What can i do to use up milk. I've got over 1ltr of 'blue top' full fat.
Usually it'll go in the freezer but that broke and the new one is coming untill next Monday. I think i bought it last weekend and it's ok but may not last all over Christmas, i was going in the morning to get some fresh stuff.
So before it goes in the bin any ideas ? Taking into consideration i can't freeze it until Monday 29th.

I've just this minute finished making a real old-fashioned blancmange for the first time!
You need - 5 tablespoons of cornflour, and 2 pints of milk. Mix the cornflour with a little of the milk, bring the rest of the milk to the boil, add the cornflour mix, and simmer for 10 minutes. Add a small knob of butter and a spoonful of sugar, leave to cool and serve with jam.
I haven't got to the serving bit yet, so no idea what it'll be like - will report back after tea tonight!!No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0 -
I've just looked on the label, usually i don't take a lot of notice of dates, but it's got use by 25th, so it might be ok me leaving getting fresh stuff untill Saturday 27th. If the worse came to the worse i've got dried milk i can mix up.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

i would second the leaving it outside though0 -
Coffee may be good 'cos i make chocolate but usually with water and milk powder, so could do milk instead The leaving outside isn't necessary, the freezer broke but the fridge is working.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Hot milky drinks...caf! latte....cocoa.....
If you make soups then some work well if you use milk as part of the liquid....(potato and leek soup perhaps)
And if the milk DOES go 'on the turn' then it makes the most perfect scones! (and if you have the scone 'dough' then instead of making scones you can use the mixture on top of stewed fruit to make a fruit cobble pudding...served with lashings of custard...another us for extra milk!)0 -

Scones are good, 'cos i've got plenty of eggs; cheese and dried fruit. And i've got tins of different fruits .... greatfruit; mandarins; things like that. The suggestion early for bread pudding, i've never done that but sure i could. And 'cos the freezer is off the bread i made is going stale, so that would use that wouldn't it.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
