I just wanted to share my latest ski holiday find. UCPA is a french non profit organisation set up, I believe, originally to allow young people to ski. However the offering is stretching and there are holiday weeks for over 40s (normally you must be under40) and for families at xmas/easter (best for over 7s as under 7s cannot take lessons, there is a cheap no ski price)
The price is for accomodation, full board, all ski hire, ski lessons, and most importantly, ski pass (this alone can cost £150+). The bar on site is also cheap as it is non profit. I have done theses hols as an under 40 but now looking at family option. The accomodation is like a good YHA. The food is awesome. Cost is £470 (no travel) with coach options too.
Here is the over 45s

If you are under 40 just look direct at the ucpa site for more choice.

Hi,
I went snowboarding a few years ago with UCPA by myself and had a great time. Met loads of new people and learnt some new stuff. I stayed in Argentiere and the accommodation was basic and I shared with 5 other people but it was ok for the price. I believe that some of the other resorts are now much more modern.
I would recommend UCPA0
