I am saving towards my £10.000 savings target, I can't start on that project till I have paid the rest that I owe on my cab, I plan to have both of these targets completed by 31st dec this year!!!

I have the motivation I need so just have to plod along daily...

Hi Gem-gem, no I'm not saving for anything in particular,started saving £2 coins before I joined this challenge.
I also save 50p pieces and 20p pieces, also joined those challenges as well.Oh i save 5p pieces, because I don't like them in my purse.

Collecting these in the same tin but keeping a note till I can work out what they are all about lol...

Also put some 50ps in that look different,

Olympic karate?
Olympic swimmer, 3 people and a horse?
Lots of stars?
Public libraries x2

The olympic ones were brought out in 2011 for the olympics, as a collectors thing, there are a few picture 50p as you have already found,

there is a scouting one out there somewhere and a jubilee one and I think the rare one is the kew gardens one...

either you bank them and count them in your total or keep them seperate, which is what I do with the picture £2 coins, (I have them all now, I am working on the £1 coins now)
