^^ thats a good idea ICantPayYou I have two terrimundis one for £1 and one for £2 so I save both...
then again we may have the same problem with £1 lol....
Well now I've googled what terrimundis actually are lol. I think I may just get another tin from home bargains for the £1 coins, probably take a couple of years to fill it though :rotfl:0 -

We have a tin in the kitchen ( the ones you open with a tin opener) in the kitchen, we weighed it when we got it & weight it every week, I think we have over £60 now, I have sworn that it will not be opened until it's full, if it ever gets full, don't seem to be many £2 coins around ATM. Seems everyone is saving them lol
Welcome to the thread ICantPayYou. You have been given number 119. Hope it won't be long before your tin is full.

Hello everyone, I've been regularly saving any £2.00 coins that come my way since December 2014 and regularly dip into your thread to see how everyone is doing. Ive got a terramundi pot so Im not sure how much is in there but its getting heavy. Like ICantPayYou, Im not intending to open it until its full. Although I must admit Ive had to get the ole knife out a couple of times to extract a £2 for one of the kids school trips/activities though this is not a normal occurrence.
I'd love to join your challenge if that's ok?
I potted 3 x £2 yesterday courtesy of Morries self service till and my BF who gave me one he had in his car.
Im quite interested in all the different designs and love getting a different one to put in the pot. Dont think I've come across anything too valuable yet though although I did get a 'Your Country Needs You' with the wording all obscured the other day.
Like many have said, not many £2's around these days although my BF was telling me his mum has got a jar full of them which at last count totalled £1900!!! Slightly gobsmacked about that!

Welcome sellurgranny. You have been given number 120.
I am also interested in the different coins. Many of us have the £2 collectors albums.
I got another coin today - 'your country needs you' coin. I keep the special ones separated from the normal ones.
£1900 that is a lot of £2 coins. I wonder what your BF mum is going to do with them.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

I have the collectors album and I haven't included those coins in my balance so the total in my signature is just the bog standard technology coins, although I'm still on the look out for the 2015 one :-)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards.
