Bugslet - I work in a bank so I changed the winnings into £2 coins so I could pot them, I'm back to collecting them from my change..

£2 added yesterday from self service machine (good earners these machines) total rounded up to £590.00 :)

Oooo a Percy pig pirate money box. I like Percy pigs. I have a Boofle money box and an old sanctuary smellies tin that I keep my £2 coins in plus a very old china Mrs Pots money box that I keep 20ps in. ( I also have a Chip the cup money box but I don't have any thing in it).
What money boxes do other people have?

Hi Gem-gem this smaller one will hold £300 in gold coins.

I have changed it over to my £1 coins as I have more £2 coins and my bigger one holds £3k in gold coins so made more sense.

I have placed them side - by - side to make potting more easier.

I have a coin counter for all the other coins from my purse and handbag then they get changed in either £1/£2 dependant on where I am in the saving at the time....
