    They're always too difficult to eat, like curly wirlys and toblerones


    Never had a problem with a toblerone - shove in, bite hard, job's a good un, or if it has to be broken, bang hard and shove whatever it gives you in in one big mouthful ;)

    I liked cinder toffee..........yum.........

    Evening all
    Well I've had a rubbish two days - see the post Stupid, stupid, stupid! But I've now finished my wine - aaahh! I noticed that this thread mentions old choc bars - does anyone remember texan bars? I used to love them - definitely made your teeth tingle though!!

    Think it started in 1970. They did it gradually so as not to confuse the elderly - my Gran never got used to it and, 20 years later, would still convert everything to old money before declaring it to be an absolute outrage!
