If you buy an item on ebay and have it posted with argos click & collect how long does delivery normally take.

  • This is a very busy time of year. It can take 2-5 days depending on what service is used, but I would expect it to be too late to collect before Christmas now.
Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

I have purchased the item and it was dispatched on the 18th but it says the Estimated delivery is tuesday 23 - Monday 29 December. I have also purchased another item that was dispatched on the 19th by royal mail and that turned up today.

Thats because, your seller has to post it to Argos, who then sort it and deliver to your chosen pick up point.

Actually seller ships direct to the shop nominated. Unfortunately Argos seem to take a few days to actually scan it and email the buyer to collect- however if you phone they will often scan it immediately for you.

It's very weird, PayPal give you an address for the shop plus the buyers name and a code- so it looks something like

    Soolin
    EcP12345678
    Argos
    123 High Street
    New town
    Ab1 23B

the seller can see when Item is delivered at the Argos shop and if it doesn't get scanned promptly can actually phone and ask them to do it. Once scanned buyer gets an email with a different code that they need to quote to,collect parcel.
