I now it might be a long short but did anyone take or saved the page when First Direct via moneysavingexpert were offering £125 to switch that closed on Friday 5th Dec. I forgot too.
Its just I opened an account on the 3rd via the link, switched my Nationwide on the 16th Dec however they have only put into my account £100 incentive.
So before I ring to find out I want a bit of proof that it was £125 via mse.

I can't provide a copy, but if you call them they should be able to confirm that you applied through the MSE link as they have a record

A copy can't be better than the information available in the Internet:
Focus On: £125 if you switch to First Direct
Exclusive! £125 for opening First Direct account
£125 for taking a current account: the best bank account ...
Proving that you used the correct link can be far more difficult, if not impossible, if they say that you haven't.0 -
Funnily, I opened my FD account on 3rd too and only received £100. I phoned them to ask about £125 because the incentive wasn't over until 5th. They investigated and gave me extra £25 (£125 in total) within 12 hours.

Ok I rang First Direct who are going to pass on the query to the incentives team to investigate which could take up to 5 working days to get back to me but it could take longer over Christmas period.0

They said the same thing to me and I got it within 12 hours, hopefully it'll be same for you

Hmm. I opened the account at the end of Nov, and switched on the 8th Dec, yet I haven't even had the hundred quid yet. I wasn't expecting it for another week or two, but as it seems others have got it I may chase them up.0

mind you that was about 20 years ago

I remember closing my Alliance and Leics account to shift to First Direct and the advisor asked "What can they offer you that we cant?", me: "£40 for starters"

Just checked account no extra £25 so looks like I will have to wait for the incentive team to look into it after x-mas.0 -
Thanks everyone, missing £25 in bank account today. I was surprised how the incentive money was put into the bank 2 days after switch over as I thought it went into account on 3rd month. Its been for my x-mas food for the family.0

I've been with FD before and claimed the incentive - i'm guessing even though its some years back and i've sinced moved address I would not be classed as a NEW customer were I to reapply?0
