Gosh, remind me not to use Aviva.
Aviva should deal with the claim, send out a witness report and trace the registration for you of the elderly couple and then pursue them for you.

I was also fortunate to have a good Samaritan leave the car details of the person who hit my car in the station car park and drove off. I reported it to the police and claimed off the other parties insurance. I think it was the police gave me the name and insurance company after they had contacted the other party. The police did not prosecute but I know they paid them a visit to have a word as to their future conduct.0
