gloworm or alpha

I had chosen alpha boilers, but the fitter suggest gloworm, opinions please.?

So many boiler makers use the same parts are owned by the same companies you’ll find many engineers prefer certain makes often down to the fact the manufacture offers free courses for installing servicing them,,, I’d go one that offers longest warranty doesn’t really matter if its crap to that extent if they repair it for free the next x years,,,,0

Neither. Alpha are rubbish and Glowworm will cost you a fortune when it breaksdown as the parts are expensive and it will breakdown. The first bit is my opinion from fitting them and repairing them and the second bit is fact!
Baxi Platinum has a ten year warranty on it, try that.0 -

This fitter supplied us with worcester in our house, so I cant see why he has switched to gloworm. Probably as its cheaper for rentals .

Agree, not keen on Glowworm but much better than an Alpha in my experience.0 -
My Glowworm boiler is at least 15 years old and hasn't missed a beat up to now.I can afford anything that I want.
