Might indicate the Turbo oil seals are on the way out.I do Contracts, all day every day.0

If it's the 1.6 HDI then these are known to suffer turbo failure due to oil starvation caused by the oil feed pipe blocking, is it using oil ?
Joining a Peugeot forum may give you a few more ideas as this is a common problem, or you may get alternative suggestions.
Faulty injectors can also give you white smoke if massively overfuelling, as opposed to black often caused by the injectors not atomising correctly or blocked air filters.0 -
When you say "pulling away" do you mean immediately after a cold start, or does it do it when it's warm as well?
If it's only happening cold (within say a minute or so of starting the engine) then it could be as simple as a glowplug or two. You can usuall lose a couple without it affecting starting in our climate, but you'll get unburnt fuel (and white smoke) from the "faulty" cylinders until they warm a little.0 -
Glow plugs or fuel leaking into the cylinder whilst parked.
Moisture in the exhaust due to lots of short journeys?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
