Which lap top?

I am looking for a laptop in the January sales on which I can do my photography. I will be putting Lightroom or photoshop elements on it, and would use a flash stick to transfer the finished project to my pc.

I have looked at HP, Lenovo and Samsung, can you tell me which is the best one please?

I am looking for something which has wifi and uis portable but not too small.

Many thanks.

Oh sorry I just wanted to know which brand was best, but I do have my eyes on a Lenovo G50-70 if that helps.

Any currently available laptop would suffice. All are capable of running Lightroom and Elements and all would have USBs.

Since you have a PC, there must be other reasons for the laptop. If it is just portability, then any laptop but are there other requirements? Do you want touchsecreen or are you a pixel peeper a want a full HD display etc etc?

    Hey,

I have a Samsung (NP400B2B), it works like a charm! Never had any problems with it but I would suggest getting an i7 or i5 depending on your budget, also mine has only 4gb ram, so i would suggest something with 6+, thank god my desktop has 32 :p

Let me know if you need any other help.
    :D

+1 for i5 or i7. Using an i3 when editing photos isn't going to be a pleasant experience. Definitely not a celeron.

    What is your budget?

Thanks for your replies, sorry I haven't been on for a while as I have been away. here are a few questions I would like to ask?

No touch screen, wouldn’t mind HD

I thought i7 was for gamers? Would i3 be ok for light room?

I cant find anything better then the 1366 x 768 resolution. is i5 the same as 1 TB?

I would lie to put lightroom on laptop so I can edit photos before putting onto a flash drive. Thanks.

Hi I have just gone into Cash Converters and have seen a laptop (HP Pavilion 15”-N278 SA) for £299.99. It has an AMD with windows 8 and 8gb ram with 1TB HDD.

The deposit is £60 with £40 fortnightly payments. Should I go for this deal, or should I look elsewhere?

    Many thanks.
