Anyone been to Istanbul out of season ??
Who did you go with, how long and where did you stay?
I'm planning a surprise visit for probably a long weekend somwhere 'unusual' and Istanbul may fit the bill.

Can be cool and windy but ....who cares cos it is a beautiful city.
Numerous hotels on offer for all budgets. I travel to Istanbul regularly and am always amased by its beauty. When you get there, eat fish (special fish restaurant) or meat (special meat restaurants). Loose yourself in the Grand Bazzar and visit a Hammam (in Galatassaray the Hammam is one part for men and round the corner for women). This on itself is worth the visit.0 -
